HNS Policy
At all times, HNS providers are required to maintain professional liability insurance with minimum coverage amounts of $1 million/$3 million.
All providers should contact their malpractice carrier immediately if they suspect a patient may be contemplating a malpractice action.
HNS providers must contact HNS immediately if he or she becomes a defendant in any malpractice action, receives any pleading, notice or demands of claims or service of process relating to alleged malpractice, or if he/she is required to pay damages in any such action by way of a judgment or settlement.
